Doxa Mbapila

Doxa is partner at ENDOXA who heads the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Practice and Banking and Finance Practice.  Her focus areas are financial technology (fintech), banking and finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisition, insurance, competition law, trade and investment and regulatory compliance for the financial sector and energy and oil and gas sector.  Prior to working in house, she was in private practice in a leading law firm in Tanzania.

Doxa spent more than 15 years heading the legal departments of multinational banks, Citibank Tanzania, Stanbic Bank Tanzania, National Bank of Commerce and Ecobank Tanzania.  She was also the first Country Counsel for BG International (Tanzania Branch), an oil and gas company which was part of the UK BG Group where she worked on the LNG project.
